Now that the Butterfly Pavilion has butterflies in full-swing, I decided to take my big camera to capture some pretty pollinators (and more). Please enjoy.
I love the bumblers in the Biopark. They’re too cute (and don’t sting!) They’re not fond of paparazzi, though.
Fun fact: Blue Morphos are brats. They know you want to photograph their beautiful blue wings, so they clamp them up tight – except during fornication, as seen below.
Science fact: female blue morphos have a thicker black border around their wings, as seen above.
