When starting a project that deviates from the path I know, often mutations and replacements occur. Thus was the case with this scarf. This was actually the third one I started with the third set of knitting needles and I actually changed the needles halfway through (fourth set of needles). The stitches are looser at the bottom (larger needle gauge), but I’ll deal because I really don’t want to take it all out again!
Because of the larger needles (in comparison to the blizzard edition scarf), the scarf is able to drape loosely and snuggle up to you in ways the arthritic blizzard edition just couldn’t. It is also much lighter, for the days that I feel like wearing a wide-necked shirt without having a cold neck. Because I have no fashion sense and totally would!
Hoping you have a great day!
